I stayed at Oasis Guesthouse for a week long solo diving trip. John and Kim are great hosts, very accommodating and responsive. The garden space in the back is beautiful and my room was very clean, spacious, and well appointed. The guesthouse is in a great location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Very close to the shore dives on the south coast of the island. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. It was my first time in Bonaire and I was traveling solo, so I’m blessed to have found Oasis Guesthouse. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. Kim gave me a quick but thorough tour, showed me to my room, gave me information on how to contact them on WhatsApp if I needed anything, then left me to get settled.

The guesthouse and room were perfect. The backyard truly is an oasis. The warm pool water was so relaxing both morning and night. Dive supplies on site, cleaning tanks, a hanging area, and even a clothesline for your clothes was handy to have right outside the door. The hammock calls your name daily.

The location is perfect. It’s close to anything you could want or need. You have your own refrigerator space in the well-stocked kitchen, and also shelf space for your non-refrigerated food. There is an amazing coffee machine. One press of a button and you get delicious coffee.

I am a bird nerd, so I enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the hummingbirds out back each day. There was always a breeze to keep the heat tolerable.

Due to medical issues, I had not been diving in a couple years, so I requested a private guide. Kim was amazing!  Everything came back to me as soon as I hit the water and we had great, long dives.

There were a couple of days I just rested and relaxed on the property - taking a dip in the pool, chatting with John about birds, and just enjoying the calm. When I return to Bonaire, I will stay here again without hesitation. I wouldn’t change a thing.

This place was absolutely amazing! John and Kim were so nice and friendly! I would highly suggest this location over any resort. It's a little off the beaten path, but it a small and quaint guesthouse and you just feel at home. They have a nice saltwater pool and a good atmosphere and every day you're there, you feel like family. Every guest you stay with feels like part of your little family community. You share food, do family BBQs, etc. It's only about 10 minutes from anything you would need and not far from any of the activities you would want to do on the island. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would revisit in a heartbeat. This is truly one of the best places you could stay at. It's very easy-going, comfortable, and peaceful. John and Kim are great hosts with great personalities and they are very knowledgable and helpful when it comes to the island. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience, John and Kim! In 2026, for the fifth year in a row I have enjoyed my stay at Oasis Guesthouse, for 8 weeks from March to May. From the guesthouse I started to my almost daily windsurfing activities at Sorobon beach (this time in the year on Bonaire, you can expect to find windy conditions daily that allow you to plane on more than 85 % of the days) and my open-water swim sessions at Bachelor’s beach, the latter being in walking distance to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is centrally located on the island to easily reach Kralendijk (Bonaire’s picturesque capital), many bars & restaurants, Sorobon beach, the kitesurfing beach, more than one gym or any of the many diving & snorkeling spots Bonaire offers.
At times, when you are not out on the island for any out-door activities, Oasis Guesthouse offers you to spend comfortable and relaxing times under coco nut trees in a beautifully laid out tropical garden with a nice swimming pool. If needed, you can also effectively carry out any office work from the guesthouse, as a fast and stable wireless LAN network in the house is provided, giving you always reliable internet access, and allowing you to hold videoconferences, webinars etc. without any interruptions.
The hosts, John and Kim, were very accommodating, friendly and helpful and always made me feel at ease. In general, John and Kim are very forthcoming, always available and make great efforts to make all their guests feel comfortable and happy. They also ensure that the guesthouse is kept spotless clean and always in perfectly functional condition.
Oasis Guesthouse has become like my second home and I look forward to many future returns there.

In 2024, for the third year in a row I have enjoyed my stay at Oasis Guesthouse, again for 8 weeks from March to May. Oasis Guesthouse is a truly green oasis under coco nut trees in a beautifully laid out tropical garden with a nice swimming pool. Here you can comfortably spend hours of relaxing time, if you are not out for other activities on the island, e.g. for your daily water sport (windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving, snorkeling and/ or swimming), hiking, beach time or for any other adventures. The guesthouse is located in walking distance to Bachelor’s Beach and centrally located on the island to easily reach Kralendijk (Bonaire’s picturesque capital), Sorobon beach (world-famous windsurfing spot), the kitesurfing beach or any of the many diving spots Bonaire offers.
The hosts, John and Kim, were very accommodating, friendly and helpful and always made me feel at ease. In general, John and Kim are always available and make great efforts to make all their guests feel comfortable and happy. The barbecue parties with all guesthouse guests, John and Kim organize now and then, have become legendary.
My hosts have been very flexible and for instance provided me, upon my request, with a large table in my room, one of the Superior Suites on the first floor, which allowed me to use this suite as a remote office for any work, if needed. Any remotely carried out activities were supported by a very stable and fast wireless LAN in the house, which allowed me to hold videoconferences with people in Europe and/ or US without any interruptions or any other technical problems.
Oasis Guesthouse has become like my second home and I look forward to many future returns there. I can really recommend Oasis Guesthouse to anybody, who looks for a relaxing vacation and quality stay in Bonaire.

The rooms, kitchen and pool were all perfectly clean and welcoming but what makes this place special is John and Kim. They're not only fantastic hosts but wonderful people, and they make the guesthouse feel like you're staying with friends.
