About Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire

Where boutique comfort, island nature and warm hospitality come together.

Nice to meet you

Meet the hosts

We are John and Kim, originally from the Netherlands, and proud owners of Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire. In 2017 we followed our hearts and moved to this beautiful island to create a peaceful, welcoming place for guests from around the world.

We love connecting with our guests, hearing their stories and sharing island tips, but we also value privacy and quietness. Our goal is always to give you the same comfort, warmth and hospitality that we enjoy in our own travels.

John

Wildlife Volunteer & Island Nature Lover

John volunteers for the Bonaire Wild Bird Rehab, where injured or dehydrated birds, mainly flamingos are rescued, rehabilitated and safely released again.

His connection with Bonaire’s wildlife is a big part of why Oasis feels so close to nature.

Kim

Ocean Lover & Watersports Enthusiast

Kim loves everything related to the ocean. She enjoys freediving, windsurfing, kitesurfing and regularly explores Bonaire’s nature, both above and below the surface.

As the owner and instructor behind Scuba School Bonaire, Kim shares her passion for diving through calm, personal guidance and professional SSI dive training. Her love for the ocean and the underwater world is a natural extension of the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere you experience at Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire.

Our Island Dogs

Kenzo & Dushi

Kenzo & Dushi are our two lovely, friendly and very spoiled dogs — both rescued here on the island when they were pups.
You won’t see them at the guesthouse, but they live just across the street from our house.
If you would like to meet them, just let us know — they absolutely love attention and new friends.
