Terms & Conditions Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire

The terms and conditions below apply for reservations made by an individual, private person unless a special agreement has been made. Separate rules apply for group reservations over 7 persons. The Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire reserves a right to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these in case of public holidays, special events, seasonality or additional services require so.

1. BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION

When reserving a room your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required.

A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation. The Guesthouse is entitled to apply different kinds of rules such as reservation fee or credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation.

Important: When you make a reservation, you are booking a room type (not a specific room). Each room type includes similar rooms of equivalent size and equipment.

Please note, your booking has not been made or verified until you receive a confirmation email stating your reservation has been confirmed. 

2. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The Suite is at your disposal from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On your departure day the Suite must be vacated by 12:00 noon. The Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire is entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above. For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.

Early check-in and late check-out are available on subject to availability. The Fee is $35,00

3. GUARANTEED RESERVATION

Credit card guarantee is required for all bookings when confirming the reservation*. Credit card guarantee is required when confirming the reservation. We will send a link in a separate email to securely guarantee the booking. Guests with an invoicing agreement may guarantee the reservation. As an alternative method of guarantee, Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire reserves the right to require either a complete or partial advance payment in order to guarantee the reservation. Amount of prepayment and a schedule for prepayment will be contracted with customer in writing. A deposit of 50% is required 28 days before arrival.

*Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire  reserves the right to verify the credit card to the agreed amount.

4. CANCELLATION AND NO ARRIVAL

Unless otherwise agreed at the time of reservation, unless the rate confirmed or the reservation period includes special terms, the Suite can be cancelled until 29 days  before arrival without a fee.

  • In case you fail to arrive, No Show or booking reduction (after arrival date), the full cost of the booking is charged, Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire is entitled to charge equal to the fully amount of the reservation including taxes to your credit card.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 28 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 12 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
  • Group Cancellation (3 rooms and above, Villa Oasis): if the (group)booking is cancelled less then 60 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

5. PAYMENT

Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire accept the most common credit/debit cards, Maestro, Cash, Bank transfer or payment Link (we do not accept American Express, vouchers and Cheques)

In case the reservation has not been paid in advance it should be settled upon arrival at Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire  by cash, Maestro or Credit Card. 

When you made a reservation, and you want to pay with Maestro, cash, bank transfer or payment link, please let us know in advance

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE:

The total price of the reservation will be charged right away after booking and is non-refundable. 

6. GUEST BEHAVIOUR IN THE HOTEL

We follow good manners and  rules at Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.

For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private Guesthouse premises such as Suites and the maximum capacity per Suite may not be surpassed.

  • Our hotel does not allow any pets 
  • All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of the neighbors and to not make any excessive noise between the hours of 10:00pm PST and 8:00am PST. This rule is applied as per our Hotel Policy, so any noise and/or loud partying is not permitted and is subject to immediate termination of the reservation 

7. RESPONSIBILITY ON YOUR VALUABLES

Your valuables can be stored in a safety deposit box in your room.

The Guesthouse is not responsible for valuables stored in a safety deposit box in your room.

The Guesthouse is not responsible for lost or disappearance of personal valuables at our property

The Guesthouse is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept at the Guesthouse parking area or valuables inside the vehicle. 

8. Damages policy

During your stay, the room and all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to our hotel staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the room. You (The Tenant) is financially responsible for any damage to the room. This includes losses caused by you (The Tenant) or a third-party negligent actions and behavior. A summary check will be made of the room check-out time.

We want you to have a wonderful time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your (credit card) at market value.

9. Our Right To Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.
