More information about your dive in Bonaire
Learn to dive
Bonaire is known for calm waters, gentle shore entries and excellent visibility, making it an ideal island for learning to dive.
With SSI, you follow a complete, structured training system that combines digital learning, hands-on practice and open-water experience on real reef sites.
If you are already certified and want to explore the island’s dive sites, visit our Scuba School Bonaire page for guided dives and fun dives.

How SSI works
SSI makes learning accessible through a blended approach:
• digital theory you study at your own pace
• shallow-water sessions to build core skills
• open-water dives on Bonaire’s calm reefs
You move through each step with a certified instructor who focuses on clear explanations, safety and a quiet, steady rhythm.
Your certification is recognised worldwide and stored digitally for easy future use.
Benefits of learning to dive with SSI
