Bonaire beaches you need to discover
First time visitors to Bonaire are often surprised at the lack of “touristy type” beaches. The shoreline is mostly rocky, but there are also beautiful sandy beaches, each with its own unique charm. What is so cool on Bonaire is that that it varies from lively shores with trendy beach bars and restaurants to serene, family friendly spots, there is a beach for everyone!
Let’s Explore the Best Beaches on Bonaire
What all beaches on the Westside of the Island have in common: The beautiful views, the spectacular colors and the sunsets
Te Amo Beach
Near the airport, you find the white sandy shores of Ti Amo Beach, it is a truly beautiful spot in the Caribbean that offers a peaceful atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax, explore the underwater-world while snorkelling, enjoy lunch from one of the food trucks (Kite city & Stoked) and watching its stunning sunsets.
No Name Beach, Klein Bonaire
No Name beach is located on the uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire and only accessible by a 15-minute boat ride (water taxi) from Bonaire. Pure white sands and crystal-clear water, making it a top spot for snorkeling and sunbathers seeking tranquility. Since there are no facilities, bring everything you might need; water, snacks and sun protection are a MUST.
Atlantis Beach
Atlantis beach the home to the kiteboarders and the watersporter who loves wing foiling. For all the island visitors who are not doing kitesurfing, there is a lot of fun to observe the colourful kiters in action or stroll along the brilliant white sandy beach and explore the seashore critters
Bachelor’s Beach
The closest beach from Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire. On walking distance from Oasis you will find Bachelor’s beach. There is not always a sandy beach, this depends on the tides. After a day full of activities it is a peaceful place to go for a refreshing swim and enjoy the atmosphere.
Pink Beach
This unique beach is located at the SouthWest coast of Bonaire. In the past Pink Beach was actually pink in color because of the crushed pink mini-shells from foraminifera. Pink beach is 1,5km long and consists mostly of fossilised coral and stones today.
