3 maart 2023 – Bonaire is one of the most unique diving destinations in the world. Clear water, healthy reefs and easy shore access make it a favourite for divers of all levels. It’s no surprise the island is known as “Divers Paradise.”

Why scuba diving on Bonaire is so special

We are both passionate scuba divers and love sharing the underwater world of Bonaire with our guests. Below you’ll find what makes diving here so special and why Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire is a comfortable and practical base for your dive holiday.

So be our guest and stay at Oasis Guesthouse Bonaire. Book your stay online or send us an email

Bonaire has over 85 dive sites to choose from, so you can easily spend all your holiday time in the water. The island is famous because of the shore diving.

You rent a truck, grab your dive gear, tanks and weights, and hit the road with your dive buddy hunting on yellow rocks. A yellow rock with a black painted name, these represent the location of the dive site.

What you may encounter underwater

The most beautiful thing on scuba diving is that you will never know what you are going to see. But most of our dives we find something special, some special critters like sea turtles, seahorses, frogfishes, eagle rays, octopus, reef squids, moray eels, beautiful coral formations, and much more…

Some critters like to stay in the same area like the seahorses and the frogfishes, it is still nature so there is no guarantee, but we do our best to find them back for you or give you the directions.

After a day full of scuba diving and returning back to our guesthouse, there is all the luxury you need for your dive gear, rinse tanks and (locked) storage space for your equipment. After taking care of your equipment, it is time taking care of yourself, taking a nice cold drink in our tropical garden and meeting other guests and share your experience or just relax and reading a book at the pool.
